Pound rose against Dollar 

As British Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her resignation on Thursday 20 October just after six weeks of her appointment

Ahead of the news Pound was last up 0.35% at $1.1262

Later it raised against euro to last stand at around 87.08 pence

 Jumped 1% as Liz Truss spoke and traded up to 0.4% on the other hand the blue chips of the United Kingdom turned negative 

10-year gilt yield was a touch lower on the day at 3.86 %

Truss's premiership has seen a bond market rout and a U-turn on her fiscal policy programme
