HamRadio 2023: Aaronia booth at the center of the visitor flow Enormous interest in the new SPECTRAN V6 ECO

This year’s HamRadio came to an end on 25 June with an overwhelming attendance. More than 11,000 radio enthusiasts from 59 countries found their way to Friedrichshafen. The large number of visitors was also felt by Aaronia AG at its booth in Zeppelin Cat Hall A1.

The new SPECTRAN V6 ECO family was the secret star at HamRadio 2023. The USB spectrum analyzer offers a real-time bandwidth (RTBW) of 44MHz and an extended frequency range from 9kHz to 6GHz in the basic version at a base price of 1498,- Euro. In addition, the scope of delivery includes the powerful RTSA Suite PRO for signal recording and data analysis. To demonstrate the performance, several Samsung Odyssey Ark monitors, each 55 inches, were arranged side by side. Life signals could be seen on these throughout the trade show.

“If you want to show what a system can do, you can’t rely on previously recorded canned data,” says Thorsten Chmielus, managing director of Aaronia AG. “Only life signals are convincing there. Accordingly, we showed at HamRadio what we can do and convinced with the equipment.” With this, the knitters were exactly right. After all, the expert audience deals with the matter on a daily basis, whether for professional reasons or as amateur radio operators. The conversations were correspondingly profound. “It was a lot of fun to deal with the targeted questions,” adds Chmielus, “and at the same time to take home many good suggestions and wishes for our equipment.”

Without a doubt, the SPECTRAN V6 ECO revolutionizes the market for real-time spectrum analyzers. As an alternative to the basic version with one input, the device can be ordered with an integrated signal generator or as a dual RX variant. With its two independent inputs, the SPECTRAN V6 ECO offers 2 x 44MHz RTBW on the one hand. On the other hand, it achieves up to 3THz/s sweep speed with the patented high speed tictoc LO function – unique worldwide. “In most cases, visitors were already completely convinced by the performance of the V6 ECO,” says Thorsten Chmielus. “And as soon as the conversation turned to the unrivaled attractive price, they were thrilled. After all, with an entry-level price starting at 1489 euros, we are bridging the gap from inexpensive devices for private use to corporate customers.”

In conclusion, Aaronia was also satisfied: “We had countless great discussions with a very knowledgeable audience, which we enjoyed very much. On top of that, we received a large number of pre-orders for the SPECTRAN V6 ECO,” says Thorsten Chmielus, pleased with the successful appearance at HamRadio 2023.
