Carling Technologies, a Littelfuse, Inc. brand, announced the addition of a window lift switch option to the popular L-Series sealed, snap-in switch lineup. Available for 12 VDC and 24 VDC systems with current ratings from 0.4 to 20 A, the new window lift switch features above-panel components that are sealed to an IP67 rating for protection against dust, debris, and water. The rugged design makes the L-Series well-suited for use in construction, agricultural, and on-highway vehicles.
“Like the many other styles available in the L-Series, the window lift switch is simple to install and can be configured with industry-standard .187 or .250 Quick Connect tab terminations,” said Jerry Peplau, Product Manager.
Highlights of the L-Series Window Lift Switch
Specifically designed for window control, the L-Series sealed, in-cab switch can be configured with the following electrical ratings:
- 0.4 VA 28 VDC Resistive
- 15 A 24 V
- 15 A 12 V
- 20 A 12 V
In addition, the switch features:
- Above-panel components sealed to an IP67 rating
- Resistance to vibration, shock, thermo-shock, moisture, and salt spray
- An industry-standard mounting size which fits into a 1.734” x .867” (44.0 mm x 22.0 mm) hole
- A nylon base with a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating
- An operating temperature of -40 °C to +85 °C
- Options for legend orientation
