Informa Markets in India officially unveiled the Tools & Equipment Expo (TAEE) at the HTF-CWE Expo, marking a strategic shift toward a more integrated industrial showcase. Scheduled to take place from 17th to 19th September 2026 at Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), New Delhi, TAEE will serve as India’s most comprehensive B2B platform for the hand tools, power tools, cutting and welding equipment, industrial machinery, and accessories segment. This unified platform brings together four legacy shows—Hand Tools & Fasteners Expo (HTF), Cutting & Welding Expo (CWE), International Machine Tools Expo (IMEX), and Used Machinery Expo (UMEX)—to deliver a future-ready, innovation-driven event catering to stakeholders across the industrial value chain.
The inauguration of the Tools & Equipment Expo 2026 was graced by distinguished industry leaders and dignitaries, including Mr. Laxmikanta Tolasariya, CEO, Aarya Powertech; Mr. Jai Jain, Partner, RL Jain Power Tools; Ms. Gayatri Mehta, HOD Marketing, Stellaris Specialities India Limited; Mr. Vikas Ahlawat, India Sales Head, Wadfow & Ingco. They were joined by Mr. Wouter Molman, Chief Commercial Officer; Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director; and Mr. Gagan Sahni, Group Director – all from Informa Markets in India – further highlighting the event’s stature as a premier platform for the tools and equipment sector.
Speaking on the launch of TAEE, Mr. Wouter Molman, Chief Commercial Officer, Informa Markets, said, “The launch of Tools & Equipment Expo reflects our commitment to creating platforms that not only connect industries locally but also integrate them into the global ecosystem. India is widely recognised as one of the most dynamic growth markets, with its manufacturing sector set to play a defining role in the global supply chain of the future. By unifying key industrial showcases under a single, powerful identity, TAEE is designed to deliver greater scale, innovation, and collaboration. This strategic evolution comes at a pivotal time following our acquisition of Hyve India, which has brought together two organizations with similar DNAs and complementary strengths. As the world’s leading exhibition organizer with over 800 brands across 30 countries, Informa Markets is uniquely positioned to amplify what Hyve has built, adding our global reach, digital innovation capabilities, and financial resources to these established events. This transformation reinforces our belief in India’s potential and our ambition to support its journey towards becoming a global hub for tools, equipment, and industrial excellence.”
Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said, “India is at a pivotal moment in its industrial journey, with the manufacturing sector projected to reach USD 1.5 trillion by 2030 fueled by infrastructure investments, MSME modernization, and growing global demand. In this context, the launch of the Tools & Equipment Expo is more than a rebranding of four successful legacy events; it represents the unification of strengths to create a comprehensive platform for the tools and equipment sector. As India strengthens its position as a hub for hand tools, power tools, welding, and machinery, TAEE reflects our commitment to being a true ‘Festivity of Business’—an annual initiative that celebrates industry, fosters innovation, and connects global and domestic stakeholders. This transformation underscores our dedication to enabling the sector to scale new heights in competitiveness, exports, and technology adoption, while supporting India’s broader growth story.”
The Tools & Equipment Expo 2026 will feature specialised industry zones showcasing the latest in hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting technologies, industrial machinery, automation, and pre-owned equipment. The visitors will experience live demonstrations of advanced equipment, an Innovation Arena spotlighting new product launches and disruptive technologies, and a Channel Partner Zone for distributors, dealers, and OEMs to build stronger networks. Key engagements such as the Power Tools Dealers, Distributors & OEMs Networking Meet and the Welding & Laser Technology Excellence Awards will further drive focused business interactions. With international trade delegations from over seven countries and more than 10,000 trade visitors expected, TAEE 2026 is designed to deliver a truly global experience. The expo will also host an open seminar on advancements in technology for future-ready manufacturing and maintenance, offering delegates insights into Industry 4.0, sustainability, and workforce transformation.
