Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, announces a global distribution agreement with ATI Industrial Automation. ATI Industrial Automation is a leading engineering-based developer of robotic accessories and robot arm tooling, including automatic tool changers, multi-axis force/torque sensing systems, material removal tools, robotic collision sensors, and compliance devices.
The ATI Industrial Automation Axia multi-axis force/torque (F/T) sensor system, now available from Mouser, measures all six components of force and torque. Electronics and communication options are common across all Axia models to simplify integration and high-volume deployment. Force/Torque sensors are used throughout the industry for product testing, robotic assembly, pick and place, and automation. The Axia90-M50, Axia130-M125, and Axia130-M300 offer seamless ISO-standard mechanical integration, IP67 environmental protection, and 50Nm, 125Nm, and 300Nm load ratings. The Axia130 sensors also include a large through-hole for easy routing of cables and other utilities through the center of the sensor.
ATI Industrial Automation robotic tool changers provide the flexibility to automatically change robotic arm end-effectors or other peripheral tooling. The end-effectors feature two mating parts, a Master-side and a Tool-side, that have been designed to lock or couple together automatically, carry a payload, and have the ability to pass utilities such as electrical signals, pneumatic, or water. The Master side of the Tool Changer mounts to a robot, CNC machine, or other structure. The Tool-side of the tool changer mounts to tooling, such as grippers, welders, or deburring tools.
The QC-76 robotic tool changers feature a lightweight design with high strength. The QC-76 series features five connections for passing air or vacuum through the tool changer, and two connections to supply pneumatic pressure for coupling and uncoupling. The QC-76 series has a 100 kg suggested payload limit.
The QC-7 series changers are lightweight and durable, offering a variety of configuration options. This series has a 16 kg suggested payload limit. Other features include an optional tool stand hook for convenient storage during tool change, and a slotted tool for light-duty, economical tool storage.
The QC-29 robotic tool changers bring the powerful and rugged technology of ATI heavy-duty tool changers to the 25kg to 35kg payload class. The QC-29 series changers are designed to mount directly to 40 mm and 50 mm robot wrists. The QC-29 also includes in-body lock/unlock sensing and a Fail-Safe locking mechanism.
