ANGA COM is set to be a huge success next year – with even more highlights and new features: Dr. Karsten Wildberger, Federal Minister for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation, will deliver the keynote speech at the start of the show on 19 May 2026 and will also take part in the subsequent opening discussion, the Gigabit Summit. At the Gigabit Summit, the CEOs of German telecommunications companies traditionally discuss the current challenges facing the industry. The Federal Minister’s confirmation underlines ANGA COM’s role as the leading international show for broadband, media and connectivity, bringing together the entire telecommunications industry with the digital media world. The event will take place from 19 to 21 May 2026 in Cologne/Germany.
The third day of the show, Thursday, 21 May 2026, will also be particularly enhanced next year. It will be designated as the “Theme Day Municipalities” where leading municipal network operators will discuss the specific opportunities and challenges of fiber optic roll-out in a practical manner. Conference topics include resilience, data centers, digital sovereignty and broadband subsidies. Prior to this, on 20 May – especially for visitors from abroad and from the investor target group – the ANGA COM format “International FTTH Summit“, which last took place in 2023, will be reactivated and expanded.
As a new, interactive conference feature, the “ANGA COM Round Tables” will be launched next year. Round table discussions on particularly practical topics will be held for in-depth exchanges in smaller groups. Here, focused discussions can take place with innovation leaders, the respective moderators (table captains) and other industry partners. The new format places particular emphasis on interactivity and practical relevance. Further information, especially on topics and participation requirements, will follow in early 2026.
Stand allocation for both exhibition halls is currently in full swing: More than five months before the start, exhibitor registrations for already 80 percent of the stand space of 2025 have been received. Bookings can still be made via www.angacom.de. Plug & play packages with a high-quality, fully equipped exhibition stand are available from 5,550.- Euros plus VAT.
One of the key topics at ANGA COM 2026 will be the roll-out of in-house networks. In multi-dwelling units in Germany alone, there is potential for fiber optical upgrades in more than 20 million homes. In addition to numerous conference panels, the “ANGA COM Showroom In-house Networks” will celebrate its premiere. This new special area in the central foyer in front of hall 8 will provide a compact overview of the key topic in-house networks. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their integrated solutions, from the basement to the apartment, in a hands-on way. The target audience includes network operators, the housing industry, service providers and installers as well as politicians, regulators and the media.
Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO ANGA COM: “We are delighted that Federal Minister Dr. Karsten Wildberger has agreed to give the keynote speech and take part in the opening discussion at such an early stage. With its new exhibition and conference features, next year’s ANGA COM will be more practical, more interactive and more international than ever before!”
Registration for conference and exhibition visitors is now also possible online. Tickets for the exhibition are available for 25.- Euros, participation in the regular conference programme is possible from 140.- Euros. Due to the great success of the conference ticket for young professionals (persons under 30 years), this ticket category can again be booked for ANGA COM 2026 for only 40.- Euros. On the third day, Thursday, 21 May 2026, participation in the exhibition and conference programme is completely free of charge.
