PCIM Asia New Delhi Conference 2025:

The PCIM Asia New Delhi Conference – India’s new meeting ground for the global power electronics community- commenced today, marking its debut edition in the country. Bringing together industry experts and leading academic researchers, the conference sets the stage for breakthroughs in next-generation power electronics. As the backbone of technologies such as electric mobility, renewable energy systems, data centres, and advanced consumer devices, power electronics plays a pivotal role in boosting efficiency, reducing energy loss, and enabling smart grids and sustainable energy transitions. The two-day conference promises a highly dynamic platform, opening up significant opportunities for innovation, collaboration and future growth.

Day one of the conference commenced with an interesting session in the presence of esteemed distinguished dignitaries, including:

Guest of Honour, Smt Sunita Verma, Group Coordinator, R&D; Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India, expressed: “MeitY has been funding research in the power electronics industry for a long time. In India, the semiconductor mission, we are looking at some fabrication facilities in Silicon Carbide. There is a huge scope for Made in India, indigenous power electronics, circuits, devices, materials and systems. We are looking forward to collaborating and developing solutions for the country. There is a promise as the government has launched policies, fiscal support and requirements from the government. There will be exponential growth in demand within the country and the globe. This will enable India to make its mark in the field of power electronics.”

After the New Delhi edition, PCIM Expo & Conference will be held from 9-11 June 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany; PCIM Asia Shenzhen from 26-28 August 2026 in Shenzhen, China and PCIM Asia Shanghai in 2027 in China.
