TS1 Series Power Connector:
Amphenol Industrial Operations now offers the TS1 Series, a high-performance industrial power connector platform developed to support reliable electrification under harsh environmental conditions. As electrified architectures expand across industrial, transportation, commercial, and energy systems, designers need robust power interconnects that maintain performance through vibration, temperature cycling, washdown, and electrical noise.
Designed for high-power electrified and hybrid applications with elevated thermal, mechanical, and electrical stresses, TS1 supports a wide range of platforms across the industrial, transportation, and commercial sectors, as well as energy storage systems used in applications like data centers and power transformers.
The TS1 Series combines a full metal shell and metal latching mechanism with 360° electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. It is available in 8.0 mm and 12.0 mm contact sizes and offers an operating voltage of 2,000 V (12.0 mm) or 1,500 V (8.0 mm). TS1 provides a wide current range from 200A to 450A and supports a cable range of 35 mm² to 120 mm² with individually shielded wire.
The connector platform is UL 4128 certified, USCAR2 compliant, and meets IP6K9K for environmental resistance. TS1 supports an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, is designed for 500 mating cycles, and withstands 20G vibration with rated current. Engineered for design flexibility, TS1 offers versatile termination methods for receptacles and flexible wire routing options for plugs, helping simplify equipment design and cable management.
