Amphenol RF is pleased to expand our precision adapter portfolio with an additional 2.4 mm adapter designed for use in laboratory and production test environments. This straight jack to jack adapter is engineered for excellent impedance control and mechanical durability. This compact, 50-ohm solution supports accurate, repeatable measurements across advanced RF applications and is ideal for use in dense instrumentation layouts within 5G, aerospace and test instrumentation equipment.

This new 2.4 mm adapter is machined with passivated stainless-steel bodies and a gold-plated beryllium copper contacts for enhanced conductivity and durability in harsh environments. The materials used in the production of these adapters were selected to provide corrosion resistance, dependable mechanical stability and repeated connect and disconnect in production environments.

The 2.4 mm adapter interface offers high frequency broadband performance up to 40 GHz making it well suited for designs that require accurate transmission of micro-wave and millimeter-wave signals across test and measurement systems. This adapter joins a growing offering of mmWave products available as off-the-shelf solutions.
