VIAVI Solutions announced that its premier partner Saservo will demonstrate leading-edge avionics test solutions, that enable critical airborne system testing to support the evolving needs of the aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry at the 7th Aerospace & Defense MRO South Asia Summit 2026, March 11 – 12, New Delhi.
The Indian Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry is expanding rapidly. Artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), predictive analytics, process automation, digital twins, and sustainable practices have enabled significant advancements in both commercial aerospace and defense redefining MRO capabilities. Supported by progressive government reforms and policy initiatives, and driven by expanding indigenous capabilities and strong stakeholder collaboration, the MRO industry is emerging as a strategic pillar in creating a sustainable, integrated aerospace value chain for commercial, general, and military aviation. The MRO South Asia Summit will convene industry experts, OEMs, airlines, MRO providers, regulators and thought leaders to showcase groundbreaking technologies, foster strategic collaboration, enhance future readiness, and accelerate digital capabilities across the aerospace and defense ecosystem.
At stand # 95, Saservo will showcase VIAVI’s industry-leading avionics test equipment’s and demonstrate how these solutions optimize operational timelines and enhance aviation safety and efficiency.
Key demonstrations include:
OSPREY GPS Simulator – Making its debut at the show, the VIAVI OSPREY (Operational Simulated Positioning for Real-time Evaluation of Systems) GPS Simulator provides static waypoints and dynamic routes to be simulated for avionics testing purposes. It features a fully self-contained design with automated almanac uploads, a 10-channel configuration, real-time transcoding, single or dual coupler options, L1 GPS signal simulation and remote control via iOS and Android apps. The simulator provides verification of avionics installations, efficient ADS-B testing, training for technicians on new installs, pilot familiarization with upgraded avionics prior to flight, testing of XM weather systems, and comprehensive global avionics test set support.

AVX-10K Enhanced COMMs and Headset Adapter – The AVX-10K is an easy-to-use, all-in-one flight line test solution that enables quick checks and in-depth troubleshooting of critical airborne systems, boosting technician efficiency across FBO, manufacturing, and MRO environments. The AVX-10K enhanced COMMs with headset adapter delivers a faster, more controlled approach to two-way communications testing— between the aircraft and AVX-10K. Technicians can measure power level, verify range, and test with aircraft headsets using a simple, repeatable workflow for consistent results.
“Avionics testing plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, performance, and regulatory compliance of modern aircraft systems. As the aerospace and defense industry continues to advance, the demand for highly accurate and efficient avionics test equipment is growing significantly. With increasing complexity in aircraft systems, the need for precision and reliability in avionics has never been greater—making testing solutions that are reliable, repeatable, and fast more essential than ever. VIAVI’s broad portfolio of next-generation avionics test solutions empowers designers, engineers, and maintenance teams to test, analyze, integrate, and seamlessly orchestrate the capabilities of commercial, private, and military airborne electronic systems,” said Monojit Samaddar, Country Director, VIAVI.
From the factory to the flight line, VIAVI’s bench and flight line avionics test solutions deliver precise, reliable instruments for testing and calibrating airborne equipment across a broad spectrum of aerospace and defense platforms. Backed by a comprehensive portfolio of advanced technologies, VIAVI ensures exceptional accuracy, operational reliability, and mission readiness at every stage of the aircraft avionics lifecycle.
