AUMOVIO is advancing the use of artificial intelligence in industrial environments with its internally developed AI Hub. The solution integrates AI directly into employees’ digital work environments, allowing them to access intelligent support across their tools, systems and workflows – from contract analysis and coding support to maintenance diagnostics in manufacturing.
For this innovation, AUMOVIO has been recognized with the Microsoft Intelligent Manufacturing Award (MIMA) in the category “Innovate!”. The award, presented by Microsoft Germany together with the strategy consultancy Roland Berger, honors outstanding innovation and excellence in the application of advanced digital technologies in industrial and operational environments.
Increasing productivity and simplifying industrial complexity
Designed as a central AI platform for the company, the hub helps employees work more efficiently by simplifying complex tasks and accelerating access to relevant information. The platform enables users to analyze documents, generate content, perform research and automate routine workflows using artificial intelligence, helping teams save time, complete complex tasks faster and improve productivity.

A key feature of the platform is its ability to support employees through specialized AI agents. Through the AUMOVIO AI Hub, teams can access ready-to-use AI solutions or create their own digital agents tailored to specific tasks and workflows. These can automate repetitive activities, analyze complex information or support decision-making processes across different functions.
The versatility of the platform is reflected in its wide range of applications across the organization. In software development, the AUMOVIO AI Hub helps engineers check compliance with internal coding guidelines and standards. In purchasing, the platform supports teams in assessing and analyzing contracts. In manufacturing environments, maintenance teams use the AI Hub to assist with diagnosing technical failures and identifying potential solutions. In total, more than 1,500 AI agents and solutions have already been deployed across the platform.

The platform is now used by more than 21,000 AUMOVIO-employees worldwide across a wide range of functions and domains. Its seamless integration with commonly used tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, development environments and engineering systems allows employees to access AI capabilities directly within their existing workflows.
It also provides advanced capabilities that enable AI to interact with data and software tools. For example, a built-in code interpreter allows the system to perform calculations and analyze datasets, while system integrations enable AI agents to securely interact with internal applications and workflows.
The AUMOVIO AI Hub connects a wide range of AI models to the company’s internal tools and systems. Through standardized protocols, AI agents can securely interact with enterprise applications and workflows allowing teams to move beyond simple Q&A toward real, automated action across their operations.
Developed in-house for industrial requirements
The AI Hub was developed entirely in-house by AUMOVIO and evolved from an initial proof of concept into a company-wide AI platform in less than 1.5 years. The rapid development together with its modular and scalable approach underline the company’s ambition to quickly translate emerging AI technologies into practical solutions for industrial environments.
Developing the platform internally ensures full control over architecture, data protection and system integration. It was designed in close collaboration with experts from various disciplines to address the specific challenges of complex industrial organizations.

Development of the platform continues to evolve. A recently introduced capability enables it to securely access local machines and internal servers, allowing AI agents to support employees even more closely in their daily work.
