SPS 2025: Secure the lead with Baumer sensor solutions

What is the key to enhanced speed, efficiency and sustainability? In a few weeks’ time, Baumer is providing convincing answers to this question at SPS in Nuremberg (Germany). The sensor expert shows machine and plant manufacturers as well as automation specialists how to further extend their competitive edge with the Sensor Solution Toolbox from Baumer. The focus is on latest products such as high-performance time-of-flight sensors, unrivalled precise laser distance sensors, encoder product innovations and compact ultrasonic sensors with record sensing range.

Baumer CEO Dr. Oliver Vietze is anxious about to know how visitors and customers respond to the expanded portfolio. “Sensor technology is key in smart production, and here Baumer has a lot to offer. Particularly our product innovations offer the opportunity to rethink automation.”

In Hall 4A (Stand 345 and 351), interested visitors not only see how the latest Baumer developments pave the way to smart factory, but also experience them in action. The further expanded sensor workshop with seven theme islands invites to experience and test and try oneself. Visitors get live inspirations on how Baumer solutions enhance application efficiency and long-term cost-effectiveness. More exhibition highlights are innovative encoders, distance sensors that meet even the highest demands on measuring precision and IO-Link connectivity to exploit the full sensor performance at PLC level:

OM60 laser distance sensor: Unrivaled and best precision in this housing class.

Ultrasonic sensors with NexSonic technology: Versatile and efficient thanks to adaptive sonic cone and smart filter functions – now with up to 3m sensing range.

EB260 magnetic ring encoder: Maximized performance in tightest space. LowHarmonics technology guarantees maximum precision and control performance, also featuring integrated machine condition monitoring.

IO-Link Master: The latest Master generation allows for fast cycle times up to 400 µs to fully exploit the potential of fast IO-Link sensors.

The process sensors of the Series 50: Best-in-class measurement performance for pressure, temperature and conductivity, for example with pressure sensor PP56.

Smart automation starts with the sensor. At SPS; Baumer will be demonstrating pioneering sensor and vision solutions that under the motto “faster, more efficient, more sustainable” speed up automation and pave the way to maximum efficiency – both in operation and engineering. Dr. Oliver Vietze: “The challenging global environment spurs us to be even more innovative as a solution partner. We are looking forward to inspiring discussions with idea-driven users of sensor technology who together with us strive to exploit all opportunities of intelligent automation,” says the Baumer CEO in the run-up of SPS.
