Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the DK-42686-P development kit from TDK InvenSense.
TDK InvenSense DK-42686-P kit is a demonstration and development platform for the TDK ICM-42686-P inertial measurement unit (IMU). The DK-42686-P kit features an onboard embedded debugger, eliminating the need for external tools to program or debug the Microchip SAMG55 MCU. This kit is part of the SmartMotion Platform Ver. G comprehensive development system. The SmartMotion platform includes the necessary software, comprising InvenSense MotionLink, a GUI-based development tool, and embedded Motion Drivers (eMD) for InvenSense motion sensors.
The ICM-42686-P IMU is a 6-axis MEMS motion tracking sensor that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer. The IMU has a configurable host interface that supports I3CSM, I2C, and SPI serial communication, features a 2kB FIFO, and two programmable interrupts with ultra-low-power wake-on-motion support to minimize system power consumption. The ICM-42686-P features an extended full-scale range (FSR) of ±4000dps for the gyroscope and ±32g for the accelerometer, supporting precise motion analysis.
The TDK InvenSense DK-42686-P development kit is ideal for applications such as wearables, game controllers, sports swing analyzers, intelligent sports equipment, robotics, and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR).
