NOVOSENSE at PCIM 2026 – NOVOSENSE Microelectronics, a semiconductor company specializing in high-performance analog and mixed-signal chips, will showcase its latest IC advancements focused on sensing, signal chain, and power management at PCIM 2026, taking place from June 9 to 11 at Messe Nürnberg in Nuremberg, Germany. NOVOSENSE will present new product introductions and live demonstrations that address evolving system design needs for power electronics, including functional safety and isolation in automotive power conversion, motor control and load driving in white goods and industrial control, and gate driving and current sensing in AI data center power systems.
Among the highlights at PCIM 2026 for automotive applications are devices that address functional safety and isolation for high-voltage power conversion in EVs. The NSI6911F is an isolated gate driver for SiC and IGBT power stages, certified by TÜV Rheinland to meet ISO 26262 ASIL D requirements and featuring up to 19A peak drive capability, ±150kV/μs CMTI, and an integrated 12-bit isolated ADC for HV applications such as traction inverters and DC-DC converters. The NSI1306 is a reinforced isolated Σ-Δ modulator for shunt-based isolated current-sensing designs such as OBCs (on-board chargers).
The third-generation automotive-grade NSI83xx series of capacitive digital isolators offer superior EOS resilience and minimal power noise susceptibility, making them ideal for simplified system-level EMI mitigation and ensuring signal integrity in dense, high-frequency SiC-based switching environments like BMS and traction inverters. The NSOPA240x is a high-current output operational amplifier with up to 400mA continuous output current and 5.5 V/μs slew rate for low-distortion resolver excitation in traction motor control.
For white goods and industrial control applications, highlights include devices that address sensing for operating-condition feedback, efficient motor control, and protected load driving in consumer appliances and industrial machines. The NSPGD1M is an integrated gauge pressure sensor in a DIP8 package with air nozzle and ±2.5% full-temperature-range accuracy for non-contact liquid level detection. The NST1002 is a single-bus digital temperature sensor with up to ±0.5°C accuracy and 0.0078°C resolution for home appliance, battery, and industrial temperature sensing. The NSM2311 is a low-impedance integrated current sensor for isolated current measurement in industrial drives, PV inverters, power supplies, and PDUs.
The NSD7305, NSD7308, and NSD7309 are H-bridge motor drivers for brushed DC motor and actuator loads, with low RDS(on), current regulation, EMI optimization, and protection diagnostics. The NSD5614N and NSD5624 are smart low-side drivers for relay, valve, solenoid, PLC I/O, and unipolar stepper motor loads, with PWM or SPI control, output paralleling, integrated clamping, and fault diagnostics.
Addressing the energy-intensive demands of AI data center power infrastructure, highlights include devices that address gate driving and current sensing for high-density power conversion. The NSI6602V is a high-reliability isolated dual-channel gate driver with 6 A peak source and 8 A peak sink output, ±150 kV/μs typical CMTI, and low propagation delay, ideal for isolated DC-DC and AC-DC server power supplies. The NSM201x range of integrated Hall-effect current sensing ICs have low conductor resistance and support isolated measurement over a wide current range (2.5 A to 200 A). Designed for precision and reliability, these sensors feature current measurement accuracy of up to ±2%, high isolation voltage of up to 5000Vrms, and fast overcurrent protection. Target applications include UPS and industrial server power supplies.
