Teledyne FLIR Thermal Cameras to Showcase Advanced Imaging at OGA 2026

Teledyne FLIR Thermal Cameras – Teledyne FLIR will demonstrate its thermal and acoustic imaging portfolio at Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) 2026, September 2–4 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Reliability and maintenance teams visiting Booth #2907 in Hall 2 can get hands on with four camera families: the iXX-Series, the Exx-Series, the T-Series and the Si2-Series.

Compressed air leaks, loose electrical connections, failing bearings and partial discharge rarely announce themselves. They show up as heat or as sound long before they show up as downtime. The cameras on the stand are built to catch both.

iXX-Series: App-Driven Intelligence

The iXX-Series is a new class of app-powered thermal camera designed to make inspections faster, easier and more consistent — no matter the skill level of your team. The i34 (240 × 320) and i64 (480 × 640) measure to ±2°C (±3.6°F) or ±2% and run guided workflows on the camera itself, so a newer technician follows the same route and captures the same data as an experienced one.

Results upload automatically — to FLIR Assetlink™ for route planning and asset condition monitoring, or to FLIR Ignite™ for trend tracking and work order generation through a connected CMMS. Glove-friendly controls and a wide field of view keep inspectors at a safe working distance from energized equipment.

Exx-Series and T-Series: Full-Featured Handheld Thermal

Where inspections call for higher resolution and wider measurement range, the Exx-Series runs from the E54 up to the E96, which images at 640 × 480 and measures to 1500°C (2732°F). Laser-assisted autofocus on the E76, E86 and E96 takes the guesswork out of focus — and an out-of-focus image is an inaccurate temperature reading.

The T-Series is built for the awkward targets: a 180° rotating lens platform for overhead cable trays and floor-level pumps, FlexView® dual field-of-view optics, and an optional 6° telephoto lens for switchyard and flare tip work at distance.

Si2-Series: Finding Leaks and Partial Discharge by Sound

The Si2-Series overlays an acoustic image on a 12 MP visual camera view, so the operator sees exactly where a sound is coming from. An array of 124 low-noise MEMS microphones gives a working range from

0.3 m (1.0 ft) to 200 m (656 ft).

The Si2-LD finds pressurized leaks and mechanical faults. The Si2-PD locates partial discharge in high-voltage assets. The Si2-Pro does both and quantifies gas leaks, including hydrogen, CO₂, methane, helium, argon and ammonia. On-camera decision support attaches a cost figure to each leak before the operator walks away, identifying efficiency issues up to 10 times faster than traditional methods. For classified areas, the Si2x models bring the same capability into ATEX and HazLoc environments.
