Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced it has joined Silicon Valley’s Autotech Council (www.autotechcouncil.com). The council is one of the industry-leading automotive consortiums, comprising forward-thinking auto manufacturers, major supply chain partners, startups and investors.
The council is focused on facilitating awareness of new innovations, developing a better understanding of emerging technology’s potential impact and timing, building partnerships, working with entrepreneurs and investors, and getting better automotive technologies to market faster.
Autotech Council members were invited to attend a meeting in December, hosted by Keysight Technologies at its Santa Clara office. Guests had the opportunity to witness first-hand some of Keysight’s leading automotive electronics design and test solutions for various innovation domains, including connected car, automotive radar, power device and battery technologies, as well as EV/HEV and functional test.
“We are excited to establish Keysight’s presence where the innovations are taking place,” said Siegfried Gross, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s Automotive and Energy Solutions business unit.
“As a member, Keysight is positioned to share its insights and best practices in automotive design and test technologies among the industry leaders, enabling us to actively engage with them and foster cooperation to advance the next-generation developments in this exciting and fast growing market. With the convergence of many innovations for safer, energy efficient, and convenient vehicles, Keysight is dedicated to providing reliable and complete end-to-end automotive and energy solutions,” Siegfried added.
“Silicon Valley is a growing hub of automotive innovation as evidenced by the 25 car makers who now have a presence here,” said Liz Kerton, executive director of the Autotech Council. “The automotive innovation ecosystem locally is happy to welcome Keysight and confident they will contribute to our efforts to get better technology into the transportation sector faster.”
