ON Semiconductor’s 100 V Bridge Power Stage Module Wins Top 10 Power Product Award 2017 in China

FDFM8811 honored for high system efficiency and reliability along with reduced board size and component count

ON Semiconductor, driving energy efficient innovations, announced that its industry-first FDMF8811 100 V bridge power stage module for half-bridge and full-bridge DC-DC converters has won a Top 10 Power Product Award 2017.  Organized by Electronic Products China and 21ic.com, the awards program is a highly recognized benchmark in identifying innovative products for the electronics industry.

FDMF8811The FDMF8811 reduces the board area required for dc-dc converter designs by approximately one third compared to discrete implementations, enabling engineers to design smaller systems. And by integrating all of the key power components, ON Semiconductor has optimized the design to maintain the highest possible efficiency.  The FDMF8811 enables higher levels of power density in cloud applications such as wireless base stations, power modules or any on-board, isolated DC-DC converter, and industrial applications such as motor drives, fans, and HVAC.

“ON Semiconductor is uniquely positioned to address the entire ecosystem around the cloud and this award recognizes the deep commitment and investment we have made to this space,” said Roberto Guerrero, Senior Director of Marketing, Cloud Power Solutions at ON Semiconductor. “We are honored to win the Top 10 Power Product Award for our new 100 V bridge power stage module.  We will continue to invest across the breadth of our portfolio to address customer pain points with innovative solutions in the power management arena.”

To bestow the recognition, the annual Top 10 Power Product Award program recognizes a range of power products through a strict evaluation and recommendation process by an expert judging panel. The nominated products are measured against three principal criteria: design innovation, price-performance and technological advancement.
