Anomet Composite Clad Metal Wire features up to three alloys and metals metallurgically bonded to achieve specific characteristics and meet precise design requirements.  Typical applications include gold clad copper for high reliability, platinum clad molybdenum for corrosion-resistance at temperatures to 1250°C, and platinum clad tantalum for biocompatibility.

Available as wire, rod, and strip, Anomet Composite Clad Metal Wire typically incorporates 2% or more cladding thickness and can be supplied in sizes from 0.05 mm to 10 mm O.D., and as ribbon up to 25 mm wide that will not crack or flake.  Precious metals can be clad to core materials such as stainless steel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, copper and nickel-iron.
