Vicor to present innovative power solutions to address high performance computing power challenges at Tech Taipei 2024

Power modules are the key to delivering greater than 1000 amps of current

In response to ever-increasing demands for high-performance computing applications, processor operating currents have soared to many hundreds of amperes. Powering data mining applications, artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning are among the most power-hungry applications that are draining data center resources. They present many power system design challenges, most which exceed the limits of traditional discrete power delivery networks.

Vicor, the high-performance power module company, will explain how to better address the power design challenges that conventional multi-phase point-of-load voltage regulators cannot.  Vicor will present, “Solving Power Design Challenges in the Age of AI” at the High Efficiency Power Supply and WBG Technology Application Seminar (Tech Taipei) in Taipei on August 1st.

Larry Liou, Field Application Engineer at Vicor Taiwan, will explain the benefits of using high density power modules to meet the problematic current demands of so many AI-driven applications.  He will present Vicor’s innovative solutions including Factorized Power Architecture, Lateral Power Delivery and Vertical Power Delivery, which are capable of delivering current greater than 1000 Amps and enable a 50X reduction in power delivery network resistance.

Vicor Taiwan will exhibit at Vicor booth, displaying the latest Vicor product portfolio. Visit us at Tech Taipei and learn more about the Vicor presentation.
