The Pennsylvania Alliance Kickoff: Happy Hour, Networking & Technical Presentation will take place Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at Rubber Soul Taproom in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. The event brings together engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry leaders for an evening of technical learning and professional connection.
The program will feature a technical presentation titled “Precision Cleaning and Vapor Degreasing: Modern Equipment, Techniques, and Safer (Including PFAS-Free) Chemistries,” presented by Bill Martin, Global Aerospace Sales Manager at ITW CCE. The session will explore the resurgence of vapor degreasing as a critical cleaning method for today’s increasingly complex electronics, particularly in aerospace, military, and medical applications.
“This event is about reconnecting the local electronics manufacturing community and creating momentum for the Pennsylvania Alliance Group moving forward,” said Amanda Smeltz of CE3S, who serves as a contact for the event. “CE3S is excited to support the relaunch and help bring people together for meaningful technical discussion and networking.”
Formerly known as the Philadelphia Chapter, the SMTA Pennsylvania Alliance Group is re-emerging with a renewed focus on regional engagement, technical education, and collaboration. The kickoff event is designed to reintroduce the group, gather feedback from attendees, and set the tone for future meetings and programming.
The evening agenda includes networking with drinks and appetizers, the technical presentation and Q&A, and raffle drawings for attendees. Attendance is free for SMTA members and $10 for non-members, with space limited to 45 participants.
