Moscow Startup Summit 2026 – The Moscow Startup Summit will take place in the capital on September 29 and 30, featuring speeches by Russian and international specialists, presentations of domestic solutions, an awards ceremony for the Innovator of Moscow prize, a wrap-up of the Tech Lab Moscow program, and much more.
Natalya Sergunina, deputy mayor of Moscow:
“More than 150 experts from Russia and 12 other countries, including China, Brazil, India, Malaysia, and the Philippines, will take part in the business program. They will discuss the impact of technology on the development of various industries — from creative industries to agriculture.”
For the first time, the summit will host a series of speed meetings where startup founders can pitch their projects to potential investors and clients.
Over two days, the venue will host the finals of several major technology competitions and accelerators. Thus, September 29 will see the Moscow Mayor’s Innovator of Moscow award ceremony, the finale of the Tech Lab Moscow program for bringing AI-intensive products to market, and the demo day of the Sber500 international accelerator. September 30 will feature demo days of school and university tech startups, as well as participants of the Know Our Own Brand Competition, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Roscongress Foundation, and VEB.RF.

Award for tech market representatives
The summit will conclude with an awards ceremony for the winners of the Technology Award established by the Government of Moscow and Sber.

“This year, we received around 2,000 applications from 76 regions of Russia. This is 15% more than in 2025. Almost half of the contestants are Moscow-based entrepreneurs.”
The capital’s nomination, Best Innovation for the City, gathered 130 proposals — from a digital guide to the metropolis to cleaning robots. Muscovites themselves will choose the winner through a vote on the Active Citizen platform.
The competition features 17 nominations for startups, investors, corporate representatives and regional development institutions, as well as thematic media projects covering tech entrepreneurship and innovation adoption in Russia.

The projects will be evaluated by a jury comprising heads of Russian enterprises, prominent entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of government authorities, and specialized educational institutions.
