Mouser VP Todd McAtee Receives ECIA Distinguished Service Award

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is pleased to announce that Todd McAtee, Mouser’s Vice President of Americas, Business Development, has been honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA).

ECIA, the leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs and interests of the authorized electronic components supply chain, presents the award annually for “significant contributions to the leadership and activities of the electronic components industry and the association.”

The award was presented at ECIA’s recent 2016 Executive Conference, held October 23–25 in Chicago. McAtee was cited for playing a leading role in helping to foster membership within the manufacturer representatives community

John Denslinger, President and CEO of ECIA, called a McAtee “a champion of authorized distribution. His devotion to our cause and his unfailing professionalism have greatly contributed to our success.”

McAtee is highly involved with ECIA, serving on several committees, helping to develop the ECIA Manufacturer Representative contract, and assisting in the event planning for the ECIA Regional Meeting Series. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the EDS summit and the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) planning committee for the 2017 ERA Management and Marketing Conference.

An industry veteran of over 30 years, McAtee leads the development, execution, and management of Mouser’s manufacturer representative and supplier sales channel support programs. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from Key Executive Programs at Harvard Business School and the Duke Leadership Program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, as well as progressively senior management roles. His well-rounded experience includes executive positions in distributor, supplier, and manufacturer representative sides of the industry.

Mouser executives Hayne Shumate, Keith Privett and Glenn Smith have also received the ECIA Distinguished Service Award in recent years.
