LogiTHON to recreate the future of logistics industry

With over 1500 registrations received, LogiTHON has selected 57 exceptional teams to compete in the final round

All India: With an aim to create an efficient and innovative logistics sector, Softlink Global Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with a prestigious engineering college in Maharashtra have launched  LogiTHON, India’s premier logistics hackathon. This first of its kind event aims to propel the logistics industry into a new era of innovation and efficiency by harnessing the power of cutting-edge technology.

Amit Maheshwari, CEO of Softlink Global, underscores the importance of LogiTHON in shaping the future of the logistics sector, the backbone of the economy. He envisions a future where student-led innovation drives a dynamic and technologically advanced logistics ecosystem. “LogiTHON serves as a catalyst for this transformation, providing a platform for top teams to showcase their solutions and influence the trajectory of the logistics industry,” he added.

With over 1500 registrations received, LogiTHON has selected 57 exceptional teams to compete in the final round which is scheduled to take place on April 19th & 20th. Participants in LogiTHON will tackle critical issues such as developing Intelligent Warehouse Management Systems, optimizing routes for global trade, and leveraging AI for data conversion and analysis.

Amidst a post-pandemic recovery, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has identified logistics as a key sector for job creation in India. With the surge in e-commerce and the nation’s focus on manufacturing, the demand for skilled professionals in logistics has never been higher. LogiTHON aims to address this need by bringing together engineering students to tackle real-world challenges facing the industry.

Beyond the competition, LogiTHON will also foster a culture of innovation among students, empowering them to become pioneers in the logistics sector. By nurturing talent and encouraging entrepreneurship, LogiTHON set to drive economic growth and dynamism in India and beyond, said Maheswari.
