Litmus Automation Announces Distribution Agreement with Ingram Micro

World's largest Technology Distributor Now Offers Loop And Loopedge For Industrial Iot Applications In Canada

11 JULY 2017 – SAN JOSE, CA – Litmus Automation, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform provider, today announced a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro in Canada. Under the new alliance, Ingram Micro will distribute Litmus Automation’s Loop and LoopEdge technologies to channel partners throughout Canada. Ingram Micro provides full stack IoT solutions to their channels and VARs, including IoT gateways, connectivity, analytics, sensors and Cloud platforms.  LoopEdge solves a gap in their offering for the industrial market by providing an edge computing platform and gateway software that can connect to legacy devices and perform processing at the edge.

“Litmus Automation and their products align with our recently announced IoT strategy and our growing ecosystem of providers,” said Dave Mason, Executive Director, Ingram Micro Canada. “We seek out leading edge providers who can offer our channel partners flexible and relevant solutions, such as LoopEdge and Loop, that will make it easier for them to seamlessly connect and manage devices in a secure and scalable way.”

As part of its IoT suite of end-to-end solutions, Ingram Micro sells IoT gateways from vendors such as Advantech, Cisco, HPE and more, and with the new agreement, LoopEdge gateway software will be sold on top of these gateways as a bundled solution.  LoopEdge simplifies the complexity of creating IIoT solutions, providing connectivity at the edge through almost any industrial legacy protocol, management of many gateways at once, and access to a marketplace of applications to process and act on the data being aggregated within the gateway.  Loop is a consolidated IoT platform that securely connects any type of hardware, device, sensor or machine to any 3rd party software application or enterprise system in real-time with an easy-to-use interface.

“We are eager to make our Loop and LoopEdge IIoT solutions available to Ingram Micro’s extensive network of channel partners and ultimately to industrial and manufacturing companies,” said Vatsal Shah, Co-founder and CEO of Litmus. “The distribution agreement gives customers a new avenue to access Loop and LoopEdge technology to seamlessly connect industrial devices and systems.”
