Analog devices’ LTC6228 & LTC6229 operational amplifiers, now at Mouser

LTC6228 & LTC6229 Features High Speed and Low Distortion Required for Data Acquisition

Mouser Electronics is now stocking the LTC6228 and LTC6229 low-distortion 730 MHz operational amplifiers from Analog Devices. The amplifiers offers low noise rail-to-rail output at very high speeds and support the analog-to-digital converter accuracy necessary for applications including test and measurement, optical electronics, medical imaging, and data acquisition.

The Analog Devices LTC6228 and LTC6229 op amps, available from Mouser Electronics, offer ultra-low 0.88 nV/√Hz voltage noise and low distortion performance of better than -100dB at 4 VP-P for large signals as fast as 2 MHz. These exceptional performance metrics enable high dynamic range applications.

The LTC6228 and LTC6229 op amps operate from a single supply of 2.8 V to 11.75 V and can support ±5 V (or other lower split supply) while maintaining excellent performance at high frequency and slew rates of 500 V/µs. The input can ground sense, while the outputs swing rail-to-rail. The LTC6229 is offered in a tiny 3 mm × 3 mm DFN package, while the LTC6228 is offered in a 2 mm × 2 mm DFN package. Both op amps offer a wide operating temperature range of minus 40 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius and are designed for white goods, optical electronics, instrumentation, and high-density systems.

The LTC6228 and LTC6229 op amps are designed to drive the LTC2387-18 18-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for high-speed data acquisition and imaging applications. The LTC2387-18 ADC offers excellent linearity and wide dynamic range, with very low distortion at high input frequencies.
