Cisco MyAgent: Cisco’s New AI Agent for Autonomous Enterprise Workflows

Thimaya Subaiya Executive Vice President Operations

Cisco MyAgent – MyAgent marks Cisco’s next phase of enterprise AI. Now rolling out to 90,000 employees, our new super-agent moves work beyond chat and into supervised autonomous execution, bringing personalized, secure, and ambient intelligence into the flow of work.

For operations leaders, that matters because AI creates the most value when it strengthens the system of execution: connecting information, decisions, and action across the business with trusted data and clear accountability.

That is our approach at Cisco. Built on Circuit, our secure, governed, multi-model agnostic AI platform, MyAgent gives employees a trusted way to access approved LLMs, agents, and enterprise data, with the architecture needed to scale AI as an enterprise capability.

From chat to autonomous workflows

MyAgent moves us beyond chat-based interaction toward supervised autonomous workflows across applications such as Outlook, Webex, Jira, and SharePoint. Employees can now delegate work by defining an objective and allowing the system to coordinate the steps required to move it forward. In doing so, it introduces a more ambient model of intelligence at work.

MyAgent operates in the flow of work, accompanies users everywhere, and connects across systems, helping move tasks forward in the background with appropriate human oversight. Its intent-based model is what makes that possible: an employee provides a goal, context, and desired outcome, and MyAgent determines the sequence of steps needed to complete the task. In effect, it serves as an intelligence layer across systems, shifting AI from passive assistance to active support for execution.

MyAgent’s power comes from its persistent memory that retains users’ preferences, past interactions, and context over time. This memory enables a more personalized experience, helping ensure continuity and relevance across interactions and workflows. With secure access from anywhere, MyAgent stays connected to applications and data, ready to assist in the flow of work without interruption, making it a constant, trusted companion.

From human-in-the-loop to human-in-control

This is about augmenting human work with always-on intelligence that can reduce manual, repetitive tasks by managing coordination and execution across multiple applications. Employees still set intent, apply judgment, and remain accountable for outcomes, while AI helps increase speed, efficiency, and focus.

Trust is absolutely critical as AI capabilities grow. MyAgent operates within Cisco’s secure, governed AI environment; it only accesses approved models, approved systems, and enterprise-appropriate data pathways. Security and human oversight are baked into the design from the start. As AI evolves from just generating suggestions to actually taking action in workflows, the architecture and governance become even more important, not less.

From early momentum to enterprise execution

We were already seeing momentum in Circuit. In fact, agentic interactions grew nearly 350% quarter over quarter. The launch of MyAgent represents a monumental shift in how Cisco operates. By embedding the agent directly into the flow of work, we are improving the quality and speed of decisions, increasing execution speed, and strengthening trust and scale across the enterprise. We are building a more agile, resilient, and intelligent operations engine that helps Cisco thrive in the AI era.

Built by Cisco, for all Cisco employees, we can translate this into the blueprint that helps our customers and partners implement Enterprise AI at scale, helping them achieve their own transformative outcomes. That is what it means to move from AI experimentation to enterprise execution, and from execution to enduring competitive advantage.
