e-peas AEM10920 PMIC, Now Available at Mouser

Offers Ultra-Efficient Energy Harvesting for Low-Power Applications

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the AEM10920 ultra-efficient energy-harvesting power-management IC (PMIC) from e-peas.

The e-peas AEM10920 PMIC extracts DC power from the harvesting source, stores it in a rechargeable battery, and supplies the application circuit. This device features a buck regulator with an efficiency of over 90%, a selectable output voltage (2.2V, 2.5V, or 2.8V), and an output current of up to 135mA. The AEM10920 energy manager offers an external 5V charging capability, which helps extend battery lifetime and eliminates the need for primary energy storage in many applications. This device supports maximum power point tracking and an ultra-low power boost converter, enabling the harvesting of maximum available power from a source to charge a storage element.

The AEM10920 energy manager is available in a QFN 24-pin package and is ideal for remote controls, wireless keyboards, and remote sensors.
