Now at Mouser: Hirose Electric FX31 FunctionMAX Floating High-Current Connectors for Demanding In-Vehicle Power Distribution

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the FX31 FunctionMAX floating high-current connectors from Hirose Electric.

Hirose Electric FX31 FunctionMAX connectors are high-current, floating board-to-board connectors designed for internal power applications in automotive systems and related sectors, including agricultural machinery and construction equipment. With a 9.5mm pitch, 20mm stacking height, and a robust design, the Hirose FX31 supports up to 25A per pin at 800V while absorbing vibration and compensating for misalignment (±0.5mm in X/Y and ±1.mm in Z). The vibration-absorbing structure of this series reduces PCB stress by 0.05mm in the Z direction, and heat resistance up to +125°C ensures long-term reliability in harsh environments.

The FX31 is ideal for powertrain, electronic control units (ECUs), and other in-vehicle systems that require stable, high-power connectivity.
