Pickering Interfaces EV Test Solutions – Pickering Interfaces will showcase its broad portfolio of modular signal switching and sensor simulation solutions for automotive and electric vehicle electronics test at The Battery Show Europe 2026, taking place 9-11 June 2026 at Messe Stuttgart in Germany. Visitors to Stand D81 in Hall 3 will see how Pickering’s PXI, LXI, and USB platforms support scalable test systems for applications such as EV battery management systems, ECU test, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, fault insertion, signal routing, and sensor simulation.
Pickering will also demonstrate Test System Architect, the company’s recently released free online graphical toolset for designing test system switching, signal routing, and cabling. The tool enables engineers to graphically design, configure, visualize, and document complete signal paths before deployment, helping reduce development time, minimize errors, and simplify collaboration during test system design.
The Battery Show Europe, co-located with the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and the Energy Storage Summit, is Europe’s leading specialist battery show. It connects engineers, OEMs, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers, and innovators across the entire electrification eco-system to shape the future of Europe’s battery, EV, and energy storage value chain.
“Automotive and EV electronics test systems must support increasingly complex requirements, from BMS and ECU test to HIL simulation, fault insertion, signal conditioning, and load management,” said Steve Edwards, Head of Product Management at Pickering. “Pickering’s modular switching and simulation platforms provide the flexibility, scalability, long-term support, and dependable performance engineers need to build reliable test systems for these demanding applications.”
At the show, Pickering will highlight solutions for automotive and EV test, including:
- Test system design software – Test System Architect, a free online graphical toolset that enables engineers to design, configure, visualize, and document complete signal paths before deployment.
- Real-time HIL test solutions – a hybrid test demonstration showcasing the integration of third-party instrumentation with Pickering switching and simulation hardware in NI VeriStand for real-time HIL testing of EV battery management systems. The demo includes PXI modules for high-voltage isolation battery simulation, multi-channel battery simulation, fault insertion switching, thermocouple simulation, and high-voltage programmable resistance.
- Scalable modular LXI switching platforms – including a 6-slot LXI 2U chassis configurable with up to six plug-in matrix modules for flexible test system design.
- Signal routing software – a Switch Path Manager demonstration using PXI switching and simulation modules, including Pickering’s new MEMS-based MultiGBASE-T1 fault insertion unit.
- LXI/USB modular chassis – 4-slot and 6-slot LXI/USB modular chassis, fully compliant with LXI standard 1.4, enabling 3U PXI/PXIe switching and simulation modules to be remotely controlled via USB or Ethernet.
Also featured will be solutions from Pickering’s reed relay and connectivity divisions.
