Semi-Kinetics ISO Certifications Strengthen Its Idaho Manufacturing Operations

Semi-Kinetics ISO Certifications – Semi-Kinetics, a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services, is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 13485 certification for its newly established manufacturing facility in Nampa, Idaho. Approved in July, the certifications officially establish Semi-Kinetics as a multi-factory certified manufacturer, strengthening the company’s ability to support customers with consistent quality systems and processes across its California and Idaho operations.

This achievement marks an important milestone in Semi-Kinetics’ continued expansion and commitment to serving customers in demanding markets, including medical, aerospace and defense, semiconductor, test and measurement, and industrial applications. The certifications complement the company’s existing certifications and quality infrastructure at its Lake Forest, California facility, extending Semi-Kinetics’ established quality-management practices to it Idaho operation.

“This is an important milestone for Semi-Kinetics and a direct reflection of the work our team has put into building a strong foundation for growth in Idaho,” said Michael Wayne Leedom, President and CEO of Semi-Kinetics. “Becoming multi-factory certified demonstrates that our commitment to quality, traceability, process control and continuous improvement extends across our entire manufacturing organization. As we continue to grow, our customers can have confidence that they are receiving the same high level of quality and reliability from either of our facilities.”

Semi-Kinetics opened its new Nampa facility in 2026 as part of a strategic expansion of its manufacturing capacity. The approximately 30,000 sq ft facility expands the company’s overall manufacturing footprint and provides additional resources to support growing customer programs. The Idaho operation was established to complement Semi-Kinetics’ approximately 35,000-square-foot facility in Lake Forest, California, giving the company greater capacity and flexibility while maintaining its focus on high-reliability electronics manufacturing.

With the addition of the Idaho certifications, Semi-Kinetics can now apply its certified quality-management framework across both manufacturing locations. ISO 9001 provides the foundation for quality management and continuous improvement, while AS9100 addresses the rigorous quality management and continuous improvement, while AS9100 addresses the rigorous quality requirements of the aerospace and defense industries. ISO 13485 establishes the quality-management requirements specific to medical-device manufacturing.

“Expanding our certified quality system into Idaho was a critical part of establishing the facility as a long-term manufacturing resource for our customers,” added Leedom. “We are not simply adding production capacity; we are building another fully capable operation that reflects the standards, discipline and customer focus that define Semi-Kinetics.”
