ON Semiconductor Wins United Automotive Electronic Systems’s Annual Outstanding Cooperation Supplier Award

ON Semiconductor recognized for broad range and advanced semiconductor solutions for the latest automotive systems

ON Semiconductor has announced that it has won the United Automotive Electronic Systems Co.,Ltd  (UAES), 2017 Annual Outstanding Cooperation Supplier Award. ON Semiconductor was one of three semiconductor suppliers awarded at a recent supplier day.

The award recognizes the value of ON Semiconductor’s broad portfolio of products that are used in UAES’s advanced industry leading automotive system solutions. Applications where ON Semiconductor is able to supply a large number of key components range from powertrain to vehicle electrification, and from traditional modules such as engine control units (ECUs) and ignition systems to the very latest traction inverters.  The award also reflects the solutions ON Semiconductor brings to UAES on ASIC development and as one of the few providers having its own silicon carbide (SiC) technology.

UAES was founded in 1995 as a joint venture of the United Automobile Electronics Co. of China and Robert Bosch GmbH of Germany. The company is mainly engaged in the development, production and sale of gasoline engine management systems, transmission control systems, vehicle electronics and hybrid and electric drive control systems. The company’s revenue in 2017 was CNY22.6 billion, with approximately 9,500 employees.
