PSOC Edge E84 AI Evaluation Kit – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is now shipping the new KITPSE84AITOBO1 PSOC™ Edge E84 AI evaluation kit from Infineon Technologies. The KITPSE84AITOBO1 kit is a hardware platform designed for rapid prototyping of wearables, smart home devices, human machine interfaces (HMI), and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
The Infineon Technologies KITPSE84AITOBO1 evaluation kit, available from Mouser, enables rapid prototyping, development, and evaluation of Infineon’s ML platform, DEEPCRAFT™ Studio, and the deployment of embedded systems, ML models, and other software products, leveraging the versatile PSOC Edge E84 microcontroller (MCU).
The PSOC MCU is designed for responsive computing and control tasks, with hardware-accelerated machine learning that delivers refined end-user interaction and application awareness, suitable for “always-on” applications in IoT and industrial sectors. The PSOC Edge E84 microcontroller features 512Mbit QSPI Flash, 128Mbit octal RAM, and a SIP-based wireless interface based on an Infineon Technologies AIROC™ CYW55513 Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® combo. The Infineon Technologies AIROC CYW55513 is a low-power device that supports 1×1 single-stream, tri-band Wi-Fi 6/6E, is IEEE 802.11ax-compliant, and supports Bluetooth 5.4.
The PSOC™ Edge E84 AI evaluation kit also features an onboard programmer/debugger (KitProg3), SWD debug header, a MIPI-DSI connector, speaker interface, USB host and device interfaces, IO expansion headers, an IMU sensor, a magnetometer, a barometric pressure sensor, two analog microphones (PDM interface), an image sensor, and an Infineon Technologies BGT60LTR11x XENSIV™ radar MMIC. The BGT60LTR11x is a fully integrated microwave motion sensor optimized for size, including Antennas in Package (AIP) and built-in motion and direction-of-motion detectors.
