LED Expo 2017 to introduce future lightning

The sixteen edition of LED summit is all set to be launched under the banner “Smart Solutions for Future Lighting” scheduled to take place from May 11th – 13th, 2017 at Convention and Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Bombay.

During the 3-days convention, being hosted by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs, 110 Indian and 84 International companies, would be exhibiting the cost-effective and competitive LED solutions, Bureaucracy Today has learnt.

Notably, India began a plan of replacing 4 million inefficient incandescent bulbs with CFL by 2012. By 2013, several states announced plans of replacing some 200,000 fluorescent tube lights with LEDs.

Meanwhile, LEDs remain a minority in the Indian market with only three to five percent market share –as existing CFL users are less willing to convert to LED lighting.

The Expo includes discussions on various topics: Adapting Wireless Technology to Lighting Control, Affordable Lighting Solutions, and New Trend in the Lighting Industry.

The Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs shares, Raj Manek, said: “The LED Summit will cover subjects of industry importance and Smart Solutions for Future Lighting. Together, the platform features product demonstrations, research results and attracts interest from key decision makers making it ideal for business.”
