Four Internet of Things conferences in May

At least four conferences with Internet of Things themes take place in May.

Internet of Things World
Coming to Santa Clara, California May 16 to 17, Internet of Things World 2017 will have over 11,000 attendees and 250 exhibitors.

Notable speakers include Stuart McGuigan, CIO of Johnson & Johnson; Alan Boehme, CTO and Chief Innovation Officer of Coca-Cola; and Andreas Schierenbeck, Chairman of the Executive Board of tyhssenkrupp Elevator.

Free Expo passes are available. Three-day passes to all conference events are $2,895 and less expensive tickets are available for individual symposiums and two-day passes.

LiveWorx 17
PTC’s LiveWorx takes place May 22-25 in Boston. It will have 230+ breakout sessions, 11 tracks and 35 topics.

There’s an all-day session of ISE security training on Monday, May 22, and the Extropolis exhibit hall is expected to have over 100 exhibitors.

NIWeek 2017
National Instrument’s 2017 event will be in Austin May 22-25.

NI opened an Industrial Internet of Things Lab this year and the event promises to have lots of discussion about IIoT, autonomous vehicles and 5G.

Full conference passes are $1,195.

Connections 2017
Parks Associates’ Connections connected home conference will be in San Francisco May 23-25.

Keynotes include Sridhar Solur, SVP for Comcast Xfinity Home; Matt Eyring, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer of Vivint; Kristine Faulkner, SVP of COX Homelife; and Miles Kingston, GM of Smart Home Group at Intel.

Passes are $1,800 for new attendees and $1,500 for previous attendees.
