Mouser Electronics Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader empowering innovation, is excited to be a key partner and sponsor of Kerala Innovation Week, India’s largest Design, Technology and Maker fest. The festival will be held at Kalamassery, Kochi, form 22 May to 28 May 2022. The project is organized by Kerala Startup Mission in association with Global Shapers Kochi, an initiative of World Economic Forum, and aims to develop a collaborative innovation ecosystem in the state of Kerala.

“Mouser is excited to be a sponsor of the Kerala Innovation Week, which promotes emerging technologies and high-growth industries through innovation and advanced design”, said Daphne Tien, Mouser Vice President, APAC Marketing & Business Development. “Mouser strives to support creativity, collaboration, and innovation, offering the latest products, tools, services and resources to expedite design and prototyping”.

More than 2,000 innovators and 5,000 visitors are expected to congregate at the seven-day long program to be held at the Kerala Technology Innovation Zone, Kochi. Activities such as workshops, design summits, masterclasses, hackathon, startup product expo, student product showcase and a maker fest will encourage attendees to learn, collaborate, and present contemporary ideas in innovation and design.

Kerala Innovation Week creator Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) plays a critical role in increasing and supporting the number of startups in Kerala, including working with the government to establish the Kerala Technology Innovation Zone (KTIZ). The KTIZ is a sprawling, 200,000-square-foot hub that houses technology labs, incubators, design studios, co-working spaces, investors hive, an innovation centre and a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Mouser Electronics.

As a key partner and a participant at the festival, Mouser will have representatives in attendance to connect with engineers, innovators, and startups, promoting advanced technologies though engagement, collaboration and education. For more information, visit https://iwkerala.org/.
