AVer Information Inc., an award-winning provider of telehealth solutions, has partnered with Shin Kong Security (SKS), a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, installation, and maintenance of security systems and equipment, to provide a comprehensive remote care service called “Care U”, which incorporates the AVer MD330U Telehealth Camera to enable home care providers to assist individuals in rural areas to transmit smooth 4K imaging to remote care centers, increasing the coverage of healthcare in rural areas.
“Smart health is one of the main areas we’re co-working closely with AVer today,” said Leo Hsu, the Chief Operating Officer of Shin Kong Security (SKS). “Care U supported by the AVer MD330U enables us to attend to more patients, especially those in remote areas unable to pay regular visits to hospitals.”
With a shared goal of enhancing remote care quality in Taiwan’s rural areas, AVer and Shin Kong Security (SKS) quickly found common ground in discussions about incorporating AVer’s telehealth camera into SKS’s Care U service, indicating a swift and positive collaboration partnership. Care U is a 24-hour professional care service providing emergency rescue and GPS location tracking, and integrating the MD330U, can establish a more comprehensive telemedicine care service.
The MD330U is equipped with a 4K lens with 30X Optical Zoom, featuring the first detachable head design in the industry. Capable of being controlled remotely, the camera captures real-time details of affected areas (such as skin, teeth, and eyes) to remote care centers. Home care providers may bring the MD330U and the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) kit to remote areas, accurately transmitting on-site information back to the remote care center. Through Care U, patients in remote areas suffering from a range of conditions such as chronic wounds, oral infections, and ophthalmic diseases can receive better and more comprehensive healthcare.
The collaboration between AVer and Shin Kong Security (SKS) not only illustrated the practical application of the Care U service but also underscored the commitment of both companies to improving healthcare accessibility and quality through technology. As AVer continues to innovate in the realm of telehealth, and Shin Kong Security expands its security expertise into healthcare services, this partnership is poised to set new benchmarks for healthcare delivery in Taiwan.
Shin Kong Security will participate in the 2024 Smart City Summit & Expo on March 19, 2024 and officially announce the partnership with AVer during the event. They will showcase Care U, equipped with the MD330U medical-grade camera, allowing visitors to experience the advanced telemedicine care system firsthand.
