Magnalytix Brings Clarity to Reliability Evaluation with Introduction of ResidVUE QFN 48-11 Component

ResidVUE QFN 48-11 Component – Magnalytix, providing real-time reliability solutions for electronics manufacturing, is excited to introduce its newest offering in electronics reliability testing, the ResidVUE QFN 48-11 Component.

The ResidVUE QFN 48-11 component is a 48-lead, glass substrate QFN package specifically designed for the visual inspection of flux residue, product characterization, and SIR testing.

Mike Bixenman, Magnalytix SME Cleaning & Reliabilility explains, “The ResidVUE QFN 48-11 Glass Component stands out as an exciting addition to the diverse range of compontents that our team is proud to offer. Whether it’s used for process characterization, comparitive cleanliness benchmarking, SIR testing, or under component cleanliness studies, we’re confident the ResidVUE QFN 48-11 Glass Component will be a fantastic tool for anyone seeking a new level of clarity in their reliability evaluations.”

Unlike bottom-terminated components, the glass substrate construction provides under-component visibility of flux residues during and after cleaning to observe residue entrapment in real-time and quantify residue remove with optical imaging. The 48-lead package also provides a dense conficturation suitable for SIR patterning and electrochemical stress testing while the 7.8-by-7.8 mm body size and 0.5 mm pitch lead simulate actual components allowing greater comparibility to the real-world flux behaviors.
