Uttar Pradesh the largest state of India in terms of Population has secured highest number in the list of smart cities in India. Including state capital city Lucknow, 13 cities will be developed under the Smart City Mission of Modi Government. Few more cities also have been sent for the consideration which will be announced in the third list of union Government.
Lucknow is the first city of UP to be developed as a smart city under the smart city mission of Union Govt and has been funded by INR 500 Cr.
